Solar energy and aesthetics – we go one step further with you: thanks to Sunskin Facade Lap, the classic area of use for solar energy can be extended beyond the roof. The substructure of Sunskin Facade Lap is largely identical to that of a fibre cement façade. This means that Sunskin Facade Lap fits perfectly into the façade design – and also contributes to ecological power generation.
But that's not all. The smart design offers ventilated façades maximum protection against the effects of the weather. Thanks to a wide range of customisation options, Sunskin Facade Lap guarantees maximum design freedom in combination with our perfectly matched Swisspearl fibre cement panels.

Our solar modules are available as standard with a colourless, structured front glass and bare busbars or as a full black module with black covered busbars. Bare busbars are discreetly visible, but even more efficient than the black version, which is barely visible to the naked eye.
Combine our Sunskin Facade Lap modules with your favourite from our facade range to create a facade look that is second to none – entirely according to your wishes.
The complete Swisspearl façade range, from large-format Largo panels to medium-format panels or small formats such as Clinar, as well as our Swisspearl corrugated panel Ondapress, are available for your creative and individual implementation. Let yourself be inspired!
Our Sunskin modules are available in the following formats:
Our Sunskin solar modules for the façade harmonise perfectly with the Swisspearl façade solutions for the other, non-sun-facing sides of the façade. This not only creates a sustainable, but also a completely harmonious building envelope.
The modules correspond to the latest glass/glass technology, the system sheets are made of aluminium and the module hooks are made of chrome-nickel steel.

The term photovoltaics refers to generators (also called solar modules or solar panels) that convert solar energy into electricity.
Are you unsure whether solar is profitable for your property?
Swisspearl Sunskin modules consist of two rolled glass panes. This makes them more resilient and durable than conventional glass-film modules, and they achieve an operating time of up to 40 years.
We have illustrated here how a solar power system is constructed, how it works and what happens to the electricity generated.
At federal level, photovoltaic systems are subsidised through the one-off payment (EIV). In addition, some cantons and municipalities subsidise photovoltaic systems and battery storage. Furthermore, in most cantons the investment costs of solar energy systems on existing buildings are tax deductible.
